About NovaBelgica Art Gallery

NovaBelgica Art Gallery is the brainchild of Belgian metalsculptor and blacksmith Tim Roosen.

The gallery opened in October 2010 in Sint-Truiden, Belgium and started 2011 with a full exhibition schedule. Besides his own work, Tim Roosen also shows work by 5 permanent artists: Olga Gouskova, Christine Morren, Els Wenselaers, Steve Kirkham and Eddie Symkens.

The first group show in the gallery was the highly succesfull ‘Be My Valentine’, which showed the work of 26 local, national and international artists.

2011 will see 2 more group shows: ‘The Light Fantastic’ in May/June and its counterpart ‘Heavy Metal’ in October/November, as well as a Summer Salon and a Winter Salon.

The gallery shows mainly low-brow, fantastic and dark art with side-trips into more traditional work, and tries to bring a nice mix of local talent, national artists and international names.

The gallery is open on saturdays from 10am till 6pm and sundays from 2pm till 6pm, as well as by appointment.
